Held In Light™
🌿Oils That Support a Softer Home
There’s a kind of weight women carry that rarely gets spoken out loud —the mental load, the emotional noise, the swirl of everyone’s needs pressing in at once.
I’ve learned that peace doesn’t usually come in big moments.
It shows up in the small ones — tiny pauses, quiet rituals, gentle ways of giving your mind and body a chance to breathe.
Essential oils became one of those soft places for us.
Not a routine to perfect.
Not a system to master.
Just simple, steady support woven into real life.
Sometimes it’s Cedarwood or Peace & Calming at bedtime.
Sometimes peppermint when my head or heart feels tight.
Sometimes DiGize after a long bake day.
Sometimes a diffuser going when the emotional energy in the house feels heavy.
Rev jokes that oils don’t run our home —
they just keep the evening from unraveling when we’re all tired.
He’s not wrong.
These little moments help us slow down, reconnect, and remember the nearness of God in the middle of the noisy places.
Support for a Family Living Real Life 🏡
We’re a family of five with a full home, and fuller hearts.
There are loud mornings, messy evenings, moments where everyone needs something at the same time.
Oils don’t make life perfect.
They simply support the body and spirit that carry the weight of all that love.
We also try to weave in things that keep us grounded as a family —
walks outside, hikes, breathing fresh air, and the occasional brave attempt at Acro Yoga.
Some days are beautiful.
Some days are overwhelming.
Most days are a mix of both.
These oils became part of the support that helps us show up well for each other.
🕊️ Where Faith Meets the Everyday
The kitchen is where oils blend naturally into our life.
Cinnamon bark in cookies.
Peppermint in brownies.
Lavender when somebody touches a hot pan.
Stress Away in the diffuser on long, emotional days.
These aren’t just fun additions —
they’re reminders of how God wove purpose into creation.
The plants He made have always been tools for comfort, clarity, and care.
I love finding those little gifts in both our health and our home.
Not to fix life —
but to move through it with more grace.

Oils on the Trail
Some of the clearest moments with God happen outside —
on a trail, beside a fire, under a sky that finally quiets the noise inside your mind.
When we hike or camp, I always tuck a few oils into my bag.
Not because the trip depends on them…
but because they make the experience softer, steadier, more peaceful.
Citronella keeps the distractions away.
Peppermint cools tired muscles and overheated minds.
En-R-Gee and Nitro help when the trail stretches longer than expected.
Small things — but somehow they make room for presence.
Out there, the world slows down.
You breathe deeper.
The kids run free.
And creation becomes a reminder that God is intentional with every detail — including the ways He supports us.
These little tools help us stay mindful of Him while we’re out in the beauty He made.

About Me — Held In Light™
I’m Robin — a wife, mother of three, and woman learning how to create softness in a world that often feels too loud.
For most of my life, I carried things quietly…
the mental load, the emotions that never had space, the “I’m fine” moments that weren’t really fine. I learned early on to show strength instead of need — and it took years to realize that God wasn’t asking me to be unbreakable. He was inviting me to be held.
Held by Him.
Held by peace.
Held in light.
Oils found their way into my home during a time when my mind felt overstretched and my body felt tired in ways rest alone couldn’t fix. I didn’t need a system — I needed gentle support. Little by little, they became part of a rhythm that helped me breathe again.
Now I share them because I know what it’s like to be a woman doing her best with a weary mind. I know what it feels like to carry emotional weight quietly, to long for steadiness, to crave a home that feels peaceful and safe.
Not perfect.
Not curated.
Just real, warm, steady.
If you’re here, I want you to feel seen.
You don’t have to be in control all the time.
You don’t have to hide your feelings to be loved.
And your voice — even the quiet one you’re still finding — truly matters.
This space isn’t about perfection or performance.
It’s about presence, gentleness, and learning to care for yourself in small, doable ways.
I’m glad you’re here.
You’re not alone on this path.
